Cheesy Puff Sticks
  • Cut the mozzarella block into sticks. On a flat surface, spread the filo pastry. Place the cheese over the pastry sheet then top it with meat of choice. Fold the edges of the pastry sheet then roll on each side until cheese is fully encased with the pastry. Seal the sides with eggwash, and also brush the top part with eggwash. Bake the puff sticks in the oven at 180°C until pastry sheet is golden brown in color. Serve immediately with pasta or pizza sauce on the side if desired.
