Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs & Pomodoro Sauce
Elevate your foodservice offering with these rich mozzarella-stuffed pork meatballs. Served in a slow-simmered Pomodoro sauce, they're ideal as a starter or main dish in FSR Italian-inspired menus. A comfort-food classic with premium dairy credentials.

- Make the pomodoro: cook garlic in oil, remove, then add tomatoes, basil, sugar, Parmesan rind. Simmer for 3+ hours. Add garlic back and chill overnight.
- Mix pork, breadcrumbs, cheese, oregano, basil, egg. Form 20 small balls.
- Flatten, add mozzarella cubes, reshape into tight balls. Chill for 2 hours.
- Brown meatballs in oil and butter. Add pomodoro and reduce slightly.
- Serve on rocket, topped with Parmesan and basil.
