Pizza Pinwheels (Afternoon Tea)
    Roll out the dough:
  • Roll out the dough to about 10 inches.
  • Assemble the Pinwheels:
  • Spread 1 tbsp of pizza sauce or pesto (depending on your choice) evenly over each base. Sprinkle with the cubed or shredded mozzarella on top of the sauce. Add your desired toppings, such as chopped pepperoni, diced vegetables, or fresh herbs. Be careful not to overload the dough with toppings to ensure the pinwheels stay intact when baked.
  • Shape the Twists:
  • Roll the dough into a log or cylinder, starting from one side. Cut the ends off and then into 8 even pinwheels.
  • Bake the Twists:
  • Place the twists onto the prepared baking tray, leaving space between each one. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on the outside, and the cheese has melted inside.
