Arla Pro UK: Britain’s Best Pizza Competition

Terms and Conditions for competition entry.

1. Eligibility
1.1 This Arla Pro competition is open to bona fide catering establishments in Great Britain and Northern Ireland and their employees aged 18 or over.
1.2 Employees of the Promoter, their families, agents, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion are not eligible to enter.
1.3 Employees must obtain their employer’s consent prior to entry.

2. How to Enter
2.1 To enter, visit: https://www.arlapro.com/en-gb/britains-best-pizza-2026/ and complete the entry form.
2.2 Entrants must also:
2.2.1 Provide the name of their catering establishment;
2.2.2 Provide a photograph of the establishment’s menu or a link to the menu online;
2.2.3 Provide a photograph of the pizza being entered into the competition;
2.2.4 Provide a description of the pizza.

3. Entry Period
3.1 The promotional period opens at 00:01 BST on 04/05/2026.
3.2 The closing date for receipt of entries is 23:59 BST on 15/06/2026.

4. Entry Restrictions
4.1 The competition is limited to one entry per establishment.
4.2 No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups, or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted.
4.3 Incomplete, corrupted, or non-compliant entries will not be accepted.

5. Entry Requirements
5.1 Each entry must:
5.1.1 Be suitable for public display and publication online;
5.1.2 Not be obscene, indecent, defamatory, offensive, or unlawful;
5.1.3 Not infringe the rights (including privacy and intellectual property rights) of any third party;
5.1.4 Not include third-party trademarks or logos (other than Arla Pro) unless incidental and not prominent;
5.1.5 Be the entrant’s own original work.

5.2 If a group collaborates on an entry, one individual must be nominated to act as the entrant and accept these Terms and Conditions on behalf of the group.

6. Intellectual Property & Liability
6.1 Entrants are responsible for ensuring they have the right to use any submitted material.
6.2 Entrants agree to indemnify the Promoter and its affiliates against any claims arising from use of the entry.
6.3 By entering, participants agree to release the Promoter from liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
6.4 By submitting an entry, entrants grant the Promoter a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable licence to use, reproduce, and distribute the entry in any media.

7. Technical Issues
7.1 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries lost, delayed, or damaged due to technical issues.

8. Prize
8.1 There will be one overall winner, who will receive:
8.1.1 £5,000 cash prize for their business;
8.1.2 A masterclass with Marco Fuso for up to four employees (date to be agreed);
8.1.3 One Arla Pro Britain’s Best Pizza trophy.

8.2 In addition, the top 15 shortlisted entrants will each receive a Mystery Box prize.
8.3 The Mystery Box prize is non-exchangeable and no cash alternative will be offered.

9. Judging Process

9.0 Judging will be conducted by the appointed panel and all decisions made by the judges are final and at their sole discretion. No correspondence or discussion will be entered into regarding the outcome.

Round 1 (Paper Judging):
9.1 All valid entries will be reviewed by an expert panel of two Arla Pro judges under independent supervision.
9.2 A shortlist of 15 entrants will be selected based on:
9.2.1 Menu (photo or link);
9.2.2 Pizza photo;
9.2.3 Pizza description.
9.3 Shortlisted entrants will be notified between 29/06/2026 and 01/07/2026.

Round 2 (Mystery Dining):
9.4 Shortlisted entrants will be visited anonymously by an independent Mystery Diner team between 15/07/2026 and 31/07/2026.
9.5 Judging criteria:
9.5.1 Texture;
9.5.2 Flavour;
9.5.3 Sustainability credentials;
9.5.4 Presentation;
9.5.5 Customer service/experience.
9.6 Three finalists will be selected.

Round 3 (Final Judging):
9.7 Finalists will be visited by the judging panel, including Head Judge Marco Fuso, former 2024 winner Cameron Wilson, and Bite Twice influencers Gerry & Paul.
9.8 Entrants must prepare their submitted pizza for judging. Filming may take place during this stage.
9.9 One overall winner will be selected and notified within two weeks of the visit.

10. Sampling
10.1 All entrants will have the opportunity to request a free sample of Arla Pro Mozzarella Block 2.3kg after successfully completing entry into the competition.
10.2 Samples are subject to availability and verification of business legitimacy.
10.3 Samples will be dispatched within 14 days of request, subject to clause 10.2.

11. Winner Notification & Prize Claim
11.1 The winner will be notified by email by 01/10/2026.
11.2 The winner must claim the prize within 28 days.
11.3 If unclaimed, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner.

12. Publicity
12.1 Shortlisted entrants and the winner may be filmed, photographed, and interviewed.
12.2 By entering, entrants grant the Promoter the right to use such content for promotional purposes.
12.3 Entrants may only publicise their involvement with prior written approval from the Promoter.

13. Winner Information
13.1 Winner details (name and county) may be requested by writing to:

within ten weeks of the closing date, enclosing a stamped SAE.

14. General
14.1 The Promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
14.2 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.

16. Governing Law
16.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
