Dill Havarti Tuna Melt
Reimagine the classic melt with zesty dill havarti and hearty tuna. Crispy, cheesy, and bursting with flavour.

- Finely mince all peppers, capers, shallot, parsley. Combine in a mixing bowl with well drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon and salt and pepper.
- Slice 8 pieces of sourdough to desired thickness (suggested 1.5 cm), brush one side of each with either mayonnaise or butter.
- In a large skillet place 4 slices brushed side down and turn heat to medium low.
- Place slices of Havarti on bread, followed by tuna mixture and top with more slices of Havarti. Cover with other slices of bread brushed side facing up.
- Once the bottoms have started to brown cover skillet with lid and allow to cook for 2 mins.
- Flip melts and cover with lid once more. Leave covered for 4 mins.
- Check on sandwiches, cheese should be fully melted and both sides should be brown and crispy. You can leave the lid off for some time to crisp bottoms if needed.
