Eligibility:
The [Staff Canteen Global Knives Prize Draw]promotion (the “Promotion”) is open to UK residents aged 18 and over only, excluding employees of the Promoter and The Staff Canteen and their families, agents, or anyone else professionally connected with the Promotion. Due to the nature of the prizes, all participants in the Promotion must be currently working in the hospitality or foodservice industry, and prize winners may be required to provide a valid address for their place of work.
Promotion open from 00:00 on 08.12.2020 until 23:59 on 15.12.2020 (the “Promotional Period”).
All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions and participation in the Promotion signifies acceptance of these terms. All entries must be made directly by the person entering the Promotion. Incomplete entries and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted.
How to Enter:

Prizes:

1st – Global knives pack of three
2nd – Single vegetable knife
3rd – Single peeling knife
Prize Draw:
Within [seven (7)] days following the end of the Promotional Period three (3) winners will be selected (performed by a random number computer process) from all of the valid entries and each winner will win either 1st, 2nd or 3rd Global Knives Prize.
The winners will be notified via Instagram DM within [seventy two (72)] hours of the draw taking place. The Promotor will use reasonable endeavours to contact the winners.

All prizes are offered subject to availability and are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No cash will be awarded in lieu of a prize or part of it. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize with a prize of equal or greater value. The decisions of the Promoter are final in relation to any aspect of the Promotion, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Data Protection:
[The Promoter respects your data privacy and, as the Data Controller, will collect and process personal data about you in connection with the Promotion, including to contact winners, and and to publicise information about the winners on social media. By entering the Promotion you understand that you may be asked to participate in publicity connected to the Promotion, which may include the publication of pictures, video and other media sources by the Promoter and/or the Staff Canteen.
The Promoter will also share this personal data with its marketing agency who will be supporting the Promotion. If required under applicable legislation, we will share your name and prize details with the tax authorities, and if you contact us, we will register the personal data that you provide to us (e.g. name, email address, request details, etc.)
Participants who download The Chef’s Kitchen Guide will receive further related marketing communications and offers from the Promoter, but can opt-out of receiving these further communications at any time. Participants’ personal data will only be retained and used for these limited purposes and won't be passed to any third party.]

General:
By entering the Promotion, all participants will be deemed to have accepted that they are bound by these terms and conditions.
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or change the Promotion. They will only do this in exceptional circumstances. The Promoter also has the right to disqualify a participant if they tamper or abuse the entry process and they will not be entitled to the prize if they have acted fraudulently or dishonestly. The Promoter may refuse to award a prize, or seek its recovery, in the event of a participant’s fraud, dishonesty or non-entitlement under these terms and conditions.
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter shall not in any circumstances be liable to compensate any participant or accept any liability for any loss, damage or personal injury or death occurring as a result of participating in the Promotion, or taking up any prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter. Your statutory rights are not affected. These terms and conditions and any related disputes are subject to interpretation under the laws of England and Wales, and to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless your residential address is in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case local law and jurisdiction may be applied.
